The Paleontology on Public Lands (PPL) group works to ensure that the fossils found on the public lands of the United States are used and enjoyed in the best interest of society and the people of the U.S.

We support the various public land managing agencies, researchers conducting work on public fossils, and the museums that house this national treasure.

PPL hosts the Conference on Fossil Resources (CFR), a meeting for anyone interested in public fossils, land management issues, and education.
