The Paleontology on Public Lands Alliance (PPLA) group works to ensure that the fossils found on the public lands of the United States are used and enjoyed in the best interest of society and the people of the U.S. Periodically, we host the Conference on Fossil Resources (CFR). View information about past meetings.
We support the various public land managing agencies, researchers conducting work on public fossils, and the museums that house this national treasure.
Also, check out the National Fossil Day events and learn about fossils. To see a calendar of meetings and other public events related to paleontology check the Fossil Events Calendar.
